As the Crow Flies

AS THE CROW FLIES

I never claimed to be a patient man I never claimed to be from this land I have a tendency to fade to gray I have a tendency to go my own way

But then you came around And turned me upside down I swore I'd never leave you I swore I'd never leave you

But then you had to go And left me all alone I can't live here without you I can't live here without you

As the crow flies I'll come to you Across the blue skies soaring to reach you Never doubt the blatant truth I only want to be with you

I promised myself to never lock down

I promised myself to keep a look out And I tend to wall myself in And I tend to play to win

But I was without sound And struck from all around I found I had to need you I found I had to need you

And if I had my way I'd write to you everyday I feel so lost without you I feel so lost without you

As the crow flies I'll come to you Across the blue skies soaring to reach you Never doubt the blatant truth I only want to be with you

As the crow flies I'll come to you Because I only want to be with you And I found I had to need you I feel so lost without you I feel so lost without you ---
