Yoga Nidra translates to mean "Yogic Sleep." Laying down the whole time, Jerry will guide you through layers of awareness, decompressing physical, energetic, and mental tension to find deep and healing rest. Think of it as a "sleeping meditation."
For this practice, you will need the following:
- A quiet, distraction-free space
- Yoga mat or comfortable surface to rest on (beds are not recommended)
- A folded blanket under your head (large pillows shouldn't be used)
- A pillow or yoga bolster under your knees
- A blanket to cover up with
- A light eye pillow (optional)
