Based on the book, Essential Pranayama: Breathing Techniques for Balance, Healing, and Peace this course will give you an introduction to breathwork, its benefits and effects, and nine different breathing techniques! Led by the author, Jerry Givens, and seasoned yoga teacher and coach, Val Aerni, this live online course will focus on how to use pranayama to regulate your nervous system and create a happier and healthier life.

Starting weekly on Friday, March 15th, this course is perfect for anyone looking to hone their breathwork practice and take their health and wellness to the next level. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, this course is designed to meet you where you're at and help you grow.

Every week for 9 weeks, you'll learn and practice a new breathing technique, including the breath of fire and belly breathing, as well as how to integrate these techniques into your daily life. The course is split into three three-week sections, each focusing on Calming, Energizing, and Balancing breathwork. Prerecorded lecture content and live Q&As will help you deepen your understanding of these ancient practices. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with a supportive community of fellow breathwork enthusiasts and receive personalized guidance from Jerry & Val. Each live meeting is recorded so that you can revisit the guided practices week after week.
