Event Description
“Neurodivergent” is a term that is gaining popularity and relevance in recent years. With its ubiquity comes misunderstandings and assumptions about those who identify with the term. Neurodivergent people are often undervalued and discriminated against because of their different neurology. In being overlooked, their innate gifts and talents can be dismissed and unrecognized. In this workshop, we’ll work to understand this blanket-term, who qualifies as neurodivergent, some common gifts these individuals bring to the workplace, and how you can create an inclusive culture for everyone, regardless of their neurotype.
Event Logistics & Policies
General agenda: Events generally start with a short introduction followed by the described program. If you'd like to make an introduction or addition to this, please let us know upon booking so we can plan accordingly. Virtually Hosted: All events are hosted virtually and are, by default, hosted on Zoom. A link will be sent to you upon booking to share with your team internally. If you would like to use your own link or if you would like to use a different video conferencing platform, please let us know after booking. We can accommodate links for Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx. Please reach out if you have questions. Rescheduling Policy: - 14+ days prior to event: No fee - 7-13 days prior to event: $25 administration fee - 0-6 days prior to event: $50 administration fee *Rescheduling is subject to availability. Any rescheduled program must occur within one month of the original date. Cancellation Policy: - 14+ days prior to event: Full refund, minus $25 administration fee - 7-13 days prior to event: 50% refund, minus $25 administration fee - 0-6 days prior to event: No refund.
