Meet Your Teacher

Jerry Givens is a 500-hour certified teacher of Tantric Hatha Yoga and Meditation. He began practicing in 2006 and has been teaching since 2008. His teachings focus on balancing energy in the body and mind through the scientific sequencing of postures and breathwork. He is also the author of The Power of Breathwork: Breathing Techniques to Manage Stress.
Jerry has studied primarily under the guidance of ParaYoga Senior Teacher Karina Ayn Mirsky, and has attended lectures, seminars, workshops, and retreats with master teachers from the yoga tradition. Jerry is also a Level 2 Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy trained practitioner, inviting modern psychology into his understanding of yogic principles.
